The Etruscan Revival of the nineteenth century was part of a larger Archaeological Revival. Victorian jewelers were inspired by the ancient jewelry found in unearthed Etruscan tombs from the sixth and seventh centuries BC, replicating the granulation and forms using modern techniques.
