A Georgian black enamel mourning ring, set in 18K yellow gold. The ring is dated 1784 and reads the following: Maria Theresa Cottle OB 12 June- 1784 Age 43. The inside is engraved "Grati animi rignus" which loosely translates to "Gratitude Pledge."
